Hasties Swamp National Park offers the birdwatcher the unique opportunity to view some of the 200 or more species of birds that inhabit this wetland.

The facility includes a hide overlooking the swamp with illustrated posters informing the visitor of the birds which are common to the area. 

The swamp can be found just off the left side of Herberton Road a few kilometres south of the town centre.
