Mossman is close to a number of very popular and picturesque beach communities, including Newell, Cooya and Wonga Beaches.

If you would prefer a beach visit without the crowds common to the more populated centres, then a visit to any of these beaches would be most suitable.

Shady park areas, picnic tables and seating make these beaches perfect for family bar-b-que gatherings, for taking the children for a picnic, or simply for a relaxed and quiet time on your own.

The view from these beaches is simply stunning, with Port Douglas clearly visible just to the south and the Daintree coastline to the north.
