Mossman
Gorge is on the southern end of the Daintree National Park and is
accessed by turning west into Johnston Road practically in
the centre of Mossman township.
A 5 kilometre bitumen road leads through the Mossman Gorge
Aboriginal Community directly to the Mossman Gorge car park where
there ia a picnic area and toilet facilities.
A short walk from the car park, through the tropical rainforest,
brings you to the Mossman River where crystal clear water
cascading amongst large granite boulders forms picturesque and
refreshing swimming pools.
