Mossman Gorge

Mossman Gorge is on the southern end of the Daintree National Park and is accessed by turning west into Johnston Road practically in the centre of Mossman township.

A 5 kilometre bitumen road leads through the Mossman Gorge Aboriginal Community directly to the Mossman Gorge car park where there ia a picnic area and toilet facilities.

A short walk from the car park, through the tropical rainforest, brings you to the Mossman River where crystal clear water cascading amongst large granite boulders forms picturesque and refreshing swimming pools.
