It is easy to understand why visitors are attracted to Ravenshoe.  The village itself has an old-world charm and atmosphere which would surely be soothing to the jaded city-dweller, while still being large enough to offer plentiful accommodation and a good variety of eating places as well as food and basic needs shopping facilities.

There are also craft shops, an art gallery, and other natural attractions.
